Can anything really be fixed?

Neglect, abuse, severe weather, sun, rain, wind, squirrels. Pick your enemy. The child who’s curious with a spray paint can, can inflict damage. But what will you teach the child? Will they get the tough father, the mother of all punishments, or will empathy show up and spoil the whole life lesson routine?

The key to fixing anything, the most important part is to see if all the missing pieces are still in tact. Without the missing parts there’s nothing you can do.

When the husband who’s cheated in the loveless marriage gets caught, can the couple rebuild. Not without the missing parts, and in that situation there’s bound to be missing parts. Body parts I suspect. But the love thing being gone is also a huge stumbling block to reunification.

How about when a child runs away because, well because they’re actually teenagers not children anymore can you fix that? That’s a challenge for Gorilla glue that might exceed the manufactures list of recommended things that can be repaired by the sticky stuff.

Most broken things require a lot of attention before the main event of mass destruction occurs. But we miss the signs, we’re busy. We never stop to think, If I don’t take care today I’ll never be able to repair tomorrow.

Be well my friends and watch out for that errant squirrel.
